Bearslake Inn - Dartmoor Restaurant and Pub Accommodation
"A real pub with a fine restaurant and splendid accommodation”
West Devon; one of life’s best kept secrets, where the weather can be one coat colder but the welcome is always warm, and the clock is definitely one hour slower – stop, rest and enjoy!

Bearslake Inn is believed to date back to the 13th
century. The main building is a traditional thatched Devon longhouse; originally a working farm.

Once inside you will find a traditional Public Bar offering a range of quality real ales, many from the local area and wines and spirits from around the world. There is also a lounge bar where families are very welcome and you can sit and enjoy the log fires.

The interior of the property oozes ‘olde worlde’ charm and character with a wealth of exposed beams and timbers, natural flagstone floors, low ceilings (“mind your head”) and traditional small windows.
To the rear of the property is a large garden with views up to High Willhayes and Yes Tor, two of the highest peaks on Dartmoor.
To one side of the garden is a beautiful stream: please be careful, children need to be supervised at all times.
