Sous Chef - full time, permanent circa £24000

We are looking to recruit a competent sous to our kitchen team to help us consistently deliver our fresh, seasonal, and local food ethos in our Dartmoor Thatched Inn.

We have recently recruited a former Michelin Starred Development Chef as our General Manager and under his remit and alongside our award winning Head Chef we are building a new kitchen and FOH team as well as designing a new style of service in line with current trends and our future goals. We currently have no awards, accolades, or external pressures other than those that we set for ourselves. We are a young and ambitious team and we hope that you may be the last piece in the Bearslake puzzle

We hope any applicant has a passion for food and hospitality and will help us to achieve our goals and gain recognition within the food industry. A successful applicant must have a strong hospitality background with qualifications and experience in a similar role. We would consider someone looking for a step up into the role, but you must have a proven track record and show strong career succession in previous job roles.

Salary for this role is negotiable but will be Circa £24,000 and dependant on the right candidate proving their worth to our small family owned business.

Experience is a must and the right attitude towards work and standards is key.
