The Valentine’s Tasting Menu
If you are looking for restaurants for Valentine's, then look no further. Bearslake Inn's special Valentine's Tasting Menu will be served on the evening of February 14th. If you're a couple, we have plenty of delights to indulge in. The 6-course tasting menu at £50 per head is such a great offer. Chef Dolton focuses on using great local produce throughout the menu.
As you arrive, we will serve you a glass of fizz to get the evening sparkling!
The Valentine’s Tasting Menu
First course
Then the first taster course will include Hogs Pudding & Apple Croquette Salmon Pastrami, Dill & Mustard Créme, Ale Soda Bread & Whipped Chicken Butter, Squash & Sage Arancini - Beetroot Carpaccio, Dill & Mustard Créme Ale Soda Bread & Whipped Miso Butter (v).
Second course
Following that, there are more delicious dishes including Chicken Terrine, Whipped Chicken Liver Parfait, Pickled Carrot & Parsley Emulsion, Red Onion Tart Tatin, Goats Cheese Mousse, Apple, and Pickled Walnut & Red Vein Sorrel (v).
Third course
In the next course, you will be tantalised by Chef Dolton’s 'Scampi - Cod Brandade, Dill Emulsion, Garden Pea & Tarrare Beurre Blanc Scampi - Celeriac Brandade, Dill Emulsion, Garden Pea & Tartare Buerre Blanc (v).
Fourth course
The next course includes Dry Aged Beef Sirloin, Glazed Brisket. Caramelised Celeriac, Smoked Potato & Roscoff Onion, Salt Baked Carrot. Pickled Carrot. Smoked Potato & Roscoff Onion.
Fifth course
If your sweet tooth is ready, next up is a soothing Gin & Tonic Sorbet, Rose Petals.
Sixth course
Finally come the naughty desserts with Dark Chocolate Fondant Tart, Salted Caramel, Honeycomb & Créme Fraiche.
The share option is Country Cheese Tavistock Selection of 5 local Cheeses From Country Cheese Tavistock, Paired Accompaniments & Crackers £15 if you have any room at that point! We also have a selection of Coffee and Fudge.
