Christmas Dining on Dartmoor
Part of the festive spirit is undoubtedly the food and our new chef Dolton is proud to present a refined and curated Christmas Day dining experience of locally sourced Devon produce for your dining pleasure. Feast on a selection of delectable starters before the main event of a classic Turkey Crown roast with all the trimmings with ‘Pigs in Blankets’, Roast Parsnips & Stuffing or Brixham Turbot, Golden Raisin Vinaigrette & Chive Verjus Butter, with vegetarian options also available. Then we round off our selection with mouth-watering desserts including a classic Christmas Pudding, Roast Fig Ice Cream, Raisin & Port or Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Cremeux, Hazelnut Sponge & Vanilla, followed by tea or coffee.
We also cater for those special Christmas gatherings with a special Festive Party Menu where you can choose from a selection of our locally sourced delights such as Red Ruby Beef Sirloin, Braised Brisket, Roscoff Onion & Celeriac with Roast Potatoes, Winter Greens, Cauliflower Cheese & Gravy and Dark Chocolate Marquise. Celebrate with family and friends with a carefully selected menu but as ever, make sure to pre-book as soon as possible as space is always limited.

Dartmoor and Dorset are known for their classic afternoon tea selections and our afternoon tea is no exception, full of locally sourced delicacies and treats that provide an elegant and luxurious little break while looking out on the glorious countryside, relaxing after a walk through the hills. Our vintage afternoon tea has seen a recent revamp for the festive season with our Cosy Festive Afternoon Tea now available every Friday & Saturday between 2pm and 4pm from 24 November until Christmas Eve! Delight your taste buds with Chef Dolton's delectable selection of seasonal treats and traditional favourites. While you are taking in the ambience and decor, why not add a bit of sparkle and add on a glass of Prosecco or cosy up with a warming glass of Mulled wine?
