Thatched heaven in Devon

We pride ourselves on being moor than just a pretty pub and our Dartmoor inspired rooms give you the perfect base from which to explore all that Bearslake Inn and our picturesque surroundings have to offer.
 
At the Inn we have six, large, individually designed rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Every room contains a comfortable King size bed and three of our six rooms are family rooms with additional beds suitable for larger parties & families. We also have four, fully dog-friendly rooms with direct access to our large pub garden and as a team we always delight in making four legged companions feel as equally pampered as their owners during their stay.

So let our team take you on a Dartmoor inspired journey and give yourself over to a day(or moor) of foodie pampering. Our chefs work closely with the seasons and local producers to capture a true taste of Devon in our classic pub menus. We have two room packages available for you to choose from during your stay;

Room Packages

Room Only

We are able to offer all of our rooms on a room only rate. Perfect for business travellers and guests visiting families and friends, this package would allow you to enjoy all of the Bearslake Inn amenities. Should you wish to dine with us or add a breakfast option during your stay we can always add this to your room at anytime through our add on options. Please be aware that the pub, bar and restaurant are closed on a Monday and Tuesday and not all amenities will be available on these days.

Dinner, Room & Breakfast

The ultimate foodie package for those looking to enjoy the full Bearslake Inn Dine, Stay, Relax experience. After check-in unwind in your spacious countryside designed room before joining us for 3 courses from our seasonal A La Carte menu where chef and the team put local ingredients front and centre*. After spending the night in our cottage inspired rooms wake to our luxury, Dartmoor inspired, Breakfast hamper full of local and homemade sweet and savoury goodies. This is the ultimate foodie staycation on the moors.

*examples of our seasonal A La Carte menu can be found on our dine page and are subject to availability. This menu may not be suitable for small children put please give us a call to arrange a bespoke package. Please note this may include supplementary charges for certain, prime, ingredients.

All our bedrooms offer tea and coffee making facilities with fresh Devon milk (available from the bar*), luxury toiletries, bottle of chilled water*, digital TV and free WiFi. We don't offer a Bed & Breakfast package, however we do have lots of bespoke extras (including breakfast) available on the last page during the booking process. This will allow you to customise your stay at Bearslake Inn to suit your exact needs and help us keep your prices low. If you should have further enquiries or accessibility requirements please call ahead before booking and one of our team will be happy to assist you. Due to the nature of a 13th Century, grade two listed building not all of our rooms may be suitable to accommodate you during your stay.

For those who choose one of our foodie packages; every morning we will deliver your bespoke, luxury breakfast hamper to your room. This hamper will feature homemade, sweet and savoury goodies, Devon yogurts and cereals, fresh fruits, local fruit juices and Devon blended teas and coffees. (for those with allergy or dietary requirements, most can be accommodated with 72 hours prior notice)
 
However if are still in the mood for a full English breakfast and have not chosen our breakfast option there are a couple of local establishments that offer this and we will be happy to point you in their direction upon check-in.
